I will have to say that the optimization is worth the effort, a whole industry revolves around it and keyword research is the driving factor to start any SEO campaign. While the term "Fort Lauderdale SEO" may not generate a huge amount of traffic, the term is extremely relevant to this website and our business. South Florida Web Studio is a local Fort Lauderdale, FL SEO company (Actually we are in Hollywood, but we are considered part of Greater Fort Lauderdale).
This post is in response to a previous post, by a different author, on this same domain back in 2008.
The original post was a rant by the webmaster about someone that had taken some information he had presented at a seminar and used it for their own purpose and then stating that the ranked #1 in Google for the search term "SEO Fort Lauderdale".
The rant went on without making too much sense, and almost seemed to discredit the term as if it was not relevant and a waste of time.
I was not able to actually see if this was the case or not. My only knowledge is from a few weeks ago when this actual domain ranked in the #1 spot and was expired.
I will keep a close eye on the rankings over the next few weeks and make sure to report back on my findings.
